Vesikas & Fofkin on Kadrinast, Lääne-Virumaalt pärit duo. Paljude kuulajate rõõmuks on nad üheskoos juba üksjagu aastaid teinud lihtsa ja selge sõnumiga tempokat ja positiivset räppmuusikat. Meeste uus album “45201” on just täpselt selline, nagu eelnevalt kirjeldatud. Kuid lisaks on see album ka justkui meeleolukas kogum postkaarte, pilte ja elulisi sõnumeid, mida Vesikas & Fofkin oma elurännakutelt saatnud kodusesse Kadrinasse, tuttavale suunakoodile 45201.

“45201” albumil toetavad mehi omapoolsete vokaalidega J.O.C., Paks Matu ja Lord. Albumi produtseeris Gee ja muusika valmistasid Def Räädu, Suburban Suspekt, Peep Deep, Out-Or, Gee, Sten Krusell, Mista, Skidoo ja Vastique.

Def Räädu ja J.O.C. on valmis meisterdanud uue rütmivitamiini, mis pühendatud reggae ja dancehall muusikale ning liikumisele Eestis. Pühendusest tulenevalt on “Bashmentaliteet” valminud troopilise dancehall rütmi võtmes. J.O.C. teab kinnitada, et sellist lähenemist võetakse Eestis ja eesti keeles ette väga harva.

Dancehall on algupäraselt Jamaikal sündinud muusikastiil, mille tuntuimate viljelejate sekka kuuluvad Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Shabba Ranks, Mr. Vegas ja paljud teised. Muusikastiiliga koos on välja arenenud ka äratuntavalt hoogne ja temperamentne tantsustiil. Tänapäeval on dancehall muusika ja tants levinud üle kogu maailma, sh kinnitanud tugevalt kanda ka Eestis, nagu käesolevaga kinnitab MC J.O.C. ja tema “Bashmentaliteet”!

Def Räädu on unikaalne segu põhjamaisest kliimast, kaasakiskuvatest rütmidest ja kõikidest headest asjadest siin maailmas. Def Räädu omapärane helipilt on mõjutatud hiphopist, reggaest, jazzist, folgist ja moodsast klubimuusikast.

Henri Hütt is an artist/performer, who mostly dances to techno music. He formed Distant Artist position before the popular “nothingness”-trend and he deals with the exotics of “not”-polarities. Suutis enne poppi “mittemiski”-buumi sõnastada välja vahemaad hoidva kunstniku-positsiooni, mis tegeleb eelkõige “mitte”-pooluste eksootikaga. Edevus ja ambitsioon sunnivad teda üha jõulisemalt unistuste suunas liikuma, selleks endale järjest tööd ette kirjutades.

Gee aka GY3 aka Suburban Suspekt is one of the producers’ behind Estonian experimental dance music project Def Räädu, but he’s also known as a solo artist and a DJ, who’s style consists of tight beats and deep bass with a touch of jazz to help things along. In addition he’s the main force behind Lejal Genes (est. 1996) and Lejal Globe (est. 2007) record labels, that are both focused on releasing modern dance music. He also runs a weekly Lejal’Nyte radioshow on legendary bass music station Sub FM.

Friday the 13th is a perfect date for releasing a brand new conceptual “300 EP” full of brutal basslines and interesting instrumental solutions made by Gee. This release is a gift to all followers and fans of Gee on popular social network platforms, but it is also a milestone that is carrying an important message to all cheap cheaters and haters in this world.
