Gee aka GY3 aka Suburban Suspekt is one of the producers’ behind Estonian experimental dance music project Def Räädu, but he’s also known as a solo artist and a DJ, who’s style consists of tight beats and deep bass with a touch of jazz to help things along. In addition he’s the main force behind Lejal Genes (est. 1996) and Lejal Globe (est. 2007) record labels, that are both focused on releasing modern dance music. He also runs a weekly Lejal’Nyte radioshow on legendary bass music station Sub FM.

Friday the 13th is a perfect date for releasing a brand new conceptual “300 EP” full of brutal basslines and interesting instrumental solutions made by Gee. This release is a gift to all followers and fans of Gee on popular social network platforms, but it is also a milestone that is carrying an important message to all cheap cheaters and haters in this world.

“Vesikas & Fofkin – Litter” debut album out now!

Vesikas ja Fofkin on Virumaa juurtega mehed, kelle tegutsemist eraldi ja ka koos saab mõõta aastatega. Olenemata sellest, et ühisest kodukandist pärit mehed on nüüdseks maandunud Eesti eri paigus, pole pikk distants olnud segavaks faktoriks töiste tegemiste vahel aeg maha võtta ja teha meelijahutavat räppi lihtsale kuulajale.

Viimaks on mehed jõudnud ka oma koostöö korralikult debüütalbumiks vormistada. Vürtsikate ja otsekoheste mõtete ning jõuliste biitidega palu sisaldava plaadi nimeks on “Litter” ja selle on välja andnud Lejal Genes plaadimärk. Kokku 11 loos teevad kaasa FastK, Draco, Kali Briis, Mikrokosmos, Eeter, Peep Deep, Triple-Y, Gee, Mista, Vastique, Melkker ja Suburban Suspekt. Albumi lõppviimistluse on teinud Def Räädu ja mitmete teiste projektide ning nimede taga olev Remi Prual.

Lisaks on ta tegelane Lejal Genes (loodud 1996) ja Lejal Globe (loodud 2007) plaadimärkide taga, mis on mõlemad suunatud moodsa tantsumuusika väljastamisele. Samuti juhib ta iganädalast Lejal’Nyte raadiosaadet legendaarses bassimuusika jaamas Sub FM.

“Linnas” on esimene sooloalbum Gee artistinime all. See koosneb 11 rajast, mis kõik on pruulitud viimase paari aasta jooksul erinevates linnakeskkondades. “Linnas” on nendes keskkondades tajutud suhtumiste, tundmuste ja kogemuste peegeldus, mis on kokku pandud Gee maamajas, kaugel eemal linnapiirkondadest.

Kalvik on tech-house produtsent, kes alustas muusika tegemist 1998. aastal. Paljudes tema lugudes on mõjusid Chicago house’ist. Oma senise karjääri jooksul on Kalvik väljastanud mitu täispikka plaati, teinud hulga remikse ning ka muusikat teistele (sh Móre, Tommyboy, Lord (Öökülm), Rassakas jne).

Udu on ilmastikunähtus ja Nigeeria rahvuspill. Udu sai muusikanakkuse varakult, 14-aastaselt soetas esimese plaadimängija ja hakkas koguma vinüülplaate. Stiililiselt ei ole tekkinud otsesid piire – tema setis võib olla muusikat laohoonereivist kuni Kariibi saarte muusikani. Kõige südamelähedasem on aafrika ja ladina rütmidega vürtsitatud Ühendkuningriikide bassimuusika. Udu settides kõlavad tihedad trummirütmid, veerev bassiliin ja tükeldatud vokaalisämplid.
