Vesikas & Fofkin on Kadrinast, Lääne-Virumaalt pärit duo. Paljude kuulajate rõõmuks on nad üheskoos juba üksjagu aastaid teinud lihtsa ja selge sõnumiga tempokat ja positiivset räppmuusikat. Meeste uus album “45201” on just täpselt selline, nagu eelnevalt kirjeldatud. Kuid lisaks on see album ka justkui meeleolukas kogum postkaarte, pilte ja elulisi sõnumeid, mida Vesikas & Fofkin oma elurännakutelt saatnud kodusesse Kadrinasse, tuttavale suunakoodile 45201.

“45201” albumil toetavad mehi omapoolsete vokaalidega J.O.C., Paks Matu ja Lord. Albumi produtseeris Gee ja muusika valmistasid Def Räädu, Suburban Suspekt, Peep Deep, Out-Or, Gee, Sten Krusell, Mista, Skidoo ja Vastique.

“Metsas” is brewed in Estonian forests, consisting of 160BPM broken beats, melodies and bass streams. The album is based on decades-old sounds that are revisited again by the summer heat of Estonian forests and with the help of modern extras. On “Metsas” (meaning “In the forest”) you can hear the morning birds singing, the chirping night and the roaring bear – as well as the stray walkers, howlers and crackling mushroom pickers. Estonian jungle contains many exciting and worthwhile discoveries, and everyone is encouraged to enjoy their personal experience in peace.

Gee aka GY3 aka Suburban Suspekt is one of the producers behind Estonian experimental dance music project Def Räädu, but he’s also known as a solo artist and a DJ, who’s style consists of tight beats and deep bass with a touch of jazz to help things along. In addition he’s the main force behind Lejal Genes (est. 1996) and Lejal Globe (est. 2007) record labels that are both focusing on releasing modern dance music. He also runs a regular Lejal’Nyte radioshow on legendary bass music station Sub FM.
