“Kuidas Me Laivi Tegime vol.2” on jätkuks 2008. aastal ilmunud esimesele osale. Ajas on keskkond ja mehed veidi muutunud ning noorte pereisade kergelt rafineeritumat lähenemist on meeldivalt tunda ka albumil olevates lugudes. Kalviku looming koosneb erinevatest helidest, mis ei tohiks üheskoos toimida, kuid sellegipoolest ühendab ta oskuslikult need osised meeleolukalt pehmeks ja hüplevaks rütmiks. Leineri looming on kuskil sügava majamuusika, murtud rütmide, garage ja techno vahepel ja seetõttu on see sageli hingestatud ja hüpnootiline samal ajal.

“Kuidas Me Laivi Tegime vol.2” is a continuation of the first part released in 2008. The environment and men have slightly changed in time and a slightly more refined approach by young fathers is pleasantly felt also felt on the album. Kalvik’s production consists of different sounds that wouldn’t work together but after intro those bleeps and blurbs combine a sweet bouncy vibe on a beat. Leiner’s production is somewhere between deep house, broken beat, garage and techno and therefore it is often soulful and hypnotic at the same time.

Henri Hütt is an artist/performer, who mostly dances to techno music. He formed Distant Artist position before the popular “nothingness”-trend and he deals with the exotics of “not”-polarities. Vanity and ambition force him to move towards his dreams and while doing that, he is also creating work for himself.

Henri Hütt on (etendus)kunstnik, kes tantsib peamiselt techno saatel. Suutis enne poppi “mittemiski”-buumi sõnastada välja vahemaad hoidva kunstniku-positsiooni, mis tegeleb eelkõige “mitte”-pooluste eksootikaga. Ago Niglase muusikat iseloomustavad põnevad sämplid, pulseerivad bassihelid ja avar atmosfäär. Mõjub nii house-, techno- kui ka reivimuusika austajatele ja kütab tantsupõranda kuumaks. Ago Niglas on lõpetanud EMTA muusikapedagoogika eriala. Muusika produtseerimisega alustas 2008ndal aastal. Erilise tõuke tänase helipildi väljakujunemisele andis aastapikkune eluperiood Saksamaal, kus tutvus sealse elava klubikultuuriga. Tunneb huvi ka folkmuusika vastu ning on Meeste Tantsupidu Kolm muusikalise toimkonna kaasprodutsent.

“One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Van (eesti keeles) Small Step on Maxtracti nimelise hiphopi aktivisti nö muu muusika ja üldse instrumentaalmuusika alias. Üldiselt on too muusika pigem bassine ja kaablitpidi house-i sugupuu külge kinnitatud, aga selle nime puhul kuhugi suunas arenemisel piiranguid ei ole ega tule. Van Small Step ei järgi reegleid ega arusaamu muusikast ja selle tegemisest. Enamus lugudest on sisse mängitud live-pillidel või kasutatud helisid, mida reeglina ei seostata muusikaga. Lugude vaimsus kipub pahatihti olema kas hullumeelne või mässumeelne … Head kuulamist!
